# Willow® vs KidStrong Member App

The clearest difference is rating: Willow® at 4.5 against KidStrong Member App's 2.0. Willow® also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 162). KidStrong Member App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Willow® holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Willow® has 2.8K ratings behind it against 162, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Willow®'s written reviews are positive against 16% of KidStrong Member App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Willow® ships an update monthly, KidStrong Member App every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
