# ModLinQ vs INSALONE

The clearest difference is update cadence: ModLinQ at weekly against INSALONE's every 19 months. ModLinQ also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and device support. INSALONE's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ModLinQ against 5.0 for INSALONE. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ModLinQ has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ModLinQ ships an update weekly, INSALONE every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
