# COPS OFFICE vs PolicePosts

The clearest difference is rating: COPS OFFICE at 5.0 against PolicePosts's 4.8. PolicePosts's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COPS OFFICE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PolicePosts has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

COPS OFFICE ships an update every 5 weeks, PolicePosts fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
