# Redpost vs LeMieux

The clearest difference is monetization model: Redpost at free against LeMieux's free with in-app purchases. Redpost also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 64%). LeMieux's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Redpost holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LeMieux has 20 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Redpost's written reviews are positive against 64% of LeMieux's.

Redpost ships an update every 5 months, LeMieux every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
