# Journey Decor vs Makeover Dream

Journey Decor and Makeover Dream both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 53% of Journey Decor's written reviews are positive against 39% of Makeover Dream's. Makeover Dream's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 530). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Journey Decor sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.49 per month and Makeover Dream sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Journey Decor against 4.6 for Makeover Dream. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Makeover Dream has 5.5K ratings behind it against 530, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of Journey Decor's written reviews are positive against 39% of Makeover Dream's.

Journey Decor ships an update every 3 weeks, Makeover Dream fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
