# AirtimeFlip vs Ratels

The clearest difference is rating: AirtimeFlip at 4.4 against Ratels's 2.9. AirtimeFlip also leads on ratings volume (632 vs 73). Ratels's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AirtimeFlip holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AirtimeFlip has 632 ratings behind it against 73, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of AirtimeFlip's written reviews are positive against 40% of Ratels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AirtimeFlip ships an update fortnightly, Ratels every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
