# Fandor vs Gildy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gildy at every 5 days against Fandor's every 3 months. Fandor's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fandor sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Gildy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fandor ships an update every 3 months, Gildy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
