# Down The Hole! vs Mutant Escape !

The clearest difference is rating: Down The Hole! at 4.7 against Mutant Escape !'s 4.0. Down The Hole! also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 84) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Mutant Escape !'s advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 51%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Down The Hole! sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Mutant Escape ! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Down The Hole! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Down The Hole! has 22K ratings behind it against 84, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Down The Hole!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Mutant Escape !'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
