# Live Charging vs MCPE ADDONS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MCPE ADDONS at 66% against Live Charging's 39%. MCPE ADDONS also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 1.2K). Live Charging's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Charging sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and MCPE ADDONS sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Charging holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MCPE ADDONS has 11K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Live Charging's written reviews are positive against 66% of MCPE ADDONS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Charging ships an update every 2 weeks, MCPE ADDONS weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
