# Assignr vs RealKick

The clearest difference is monetization model: RealKick at free against Assignr's subscription. RealKick also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Assignr's advantage is ratings volume (8.8K vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Assignr against 5.0 for RealKick. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Assignr has 8.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Assignr's written reviews are positive against 100% of RealKick's.

Assignr ships an update every 6 weeks, RealKick every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
