# Assignr vs Coach Sidekick

The clearest difference is monetization model: Coach Sidekick at free against Assignr's subscription. Coach Sidekick also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 weeks). Assignr's advantage is ratings volume (8.3K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Assignr against 5.0 for Coach Sidekick. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Assignr has 8.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Assignr ships an update every 6 weeks, Coach Sidekick every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
