About

Word Batch

Features

Word Batch is a cozy word puzzle with a warm oven and real nerve. Build words from a rack of letter tiles to fill your batch. Every word you bake heats the oven, and a hotter oven means bigger scores, but also Burnt tiles creeping onto your rack. Let three Burnt tiles pile up at once and the whole batch is lost. So after every word you face the only question that matters: serve your batch now, or push your luck for one more? There's no countdown clock. The pressure is all yours. NEW: DAILY BAKE Once a day, every baker gets the same starting rack. You get one scored try, no Recipes and no paid Boosts, just you, the free Fresh Tray and the oven. Serve it for bonus Coins, see where you rank on the daily Game Center leaderboard, share your result with friends (no spoilers, just cookies), and keep your streak going. If the batch burns, your Coins and streak are safe. Want a nudge? Turn on an optional daily reminder, or leave it off. • Quick sessions: a batch takes a couple of minutes, perfect for a coffee break. • Push-your-luck scoring: the hotter the oven, the more each word is worth. • Hot Streaks: chain valid words for a growing per-word bonus. • Recipes: spend Coins on run modifiers like a second chance on a burn or a free rack refresh. • Tile Skins: 19 cookie, gingerbread and frosted designs to collect. • Bakery Orders: three small goals every round. Fill them for bonus Coins when you serve. • Baker Level rewards: every level pays Coins, and three levels unlock a free skin. • Boosts: cooling racks, oven mitts, sugar sprinkles, and open-the-oven-door to cool things off. • Baker Level: every served batch levels up your bakery. • Game Center: leaderboards for the Daily Bake, your biggest batch, baker level and words baked, plus achievements to chase. • iCloud sync: your Coins, purchases, streak and progress follow you to a new device. 100% on-device. No ads. No account required. No tracking. Just you, the tiles, and the oven.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Word Batch at none against Zoo's shown. Word Batch also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Zoo's advantage is chart position (#76 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
