# الإستاذ vs Prep'd

The clearest difference is rating: الإستاذ at 5.0 against Prep'd's 4.4. الإستاذ also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Prep'd's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (40 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

الإستاذ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prep'd has 40 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

الإستاذ ships an update every 3 months, Prep'd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
