# Steddy vs Progress

The clearest difference is rating: Steddy at 4.9 against Progress's 3.9. Steddy also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (84 vs 14). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steddy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Progress sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steddy holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steddy has 84 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.
