# Phrase Keyboard vs MyZettel

The clearest difference is ads: MyZettel at none against Phrase Keyboard's shown. Phrase Keyboard's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phrase Keyboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and MyZettel sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Phrase Keyboard ships an update every 5 days, MyZettel every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
