# Synthy vs Sign Documents

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Synthy at 81% against Sign Documents's 0%. Sign Documents's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Synthy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Sign Documents sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sign Documents holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 384 and 158 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Synthy's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sign Documents's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Synthy ships an update monthly, Sign Documents weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
