# Flying Rafts vs Nimble Plover

The clearest difference is rating: Flying Rafts at 4.5 against Nimble Plover's 3.5. Flying Rafts also leads on ratings volume (615 vs 11) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). Nimble Plover's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 41%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flying Rafts holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flying Rafts has 615 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Flying Rafts's written reviews are positive against 67% of Nimble Plover's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
