# Volcon vs EBMX X

The clearest difference is rating: Volcon at 4.4 against EBMX X's 3.2. EBMX X's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Volcon holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Volcon's written reviews are positive against 60% of EBMX X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Volcon ships an update every 3 weeks, EBMX X fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
