# ABC Games vs Fun Phonics Flashcard

The clearest difference is rating: Fun Phonics Flashcard at 4.8 against ABC Games's 4.3. Fun Phonics Flashcard also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). ABC Games's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and ratings volume (80 vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Games sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Fun Phonics Flashcard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Phonics Flashcard holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Games has 80 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ABC Games's written reviews are positive against 83% of Fun Phonics Flashcard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC Games ships an update every 3 weeks, Fun Phonics Flashcard weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
