# AmiiBoss vs Boon!

AmiiBoss and Boon! both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Boon!'s written reviews are positive against 69% of AmiiBoss's. AmiiBoss's advantage is ratings volume (669 vs 18) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AmiiBoss sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Boon! sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boon! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AmiiBoss has 669 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of AmiiBoss's written reviews are positive against 100% of Boon!'s.

AmiiBoss ships an update monthly, Boon! fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
