# Iru vs TimeAid

The clearest difference is rating: Iru at 4.2 against TimeAid's 1.0. Iru also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). TimeAid's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Iru holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Iru has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Iru ships an update every 2 months, TimeAid every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
