# VPN Proxy vs Private VPN Proxy

The clearest difference is monetization model: Private VPN Proxy at free with in-app purchases against VPN Proxy's subscription. Private VPN Proxy also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 61%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). VPN Proxy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Both are free to download. VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Private VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
