# Bay Smokes vs Calm Leaf

The clearest difference is ads: Calm Leaf at none against Bay Smokes's shown. Calm Leaf also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Bay Smokes's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 10). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bay Smokes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bay Smokes has 2.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Bay Smokes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Calm Leaf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
