# Simurelay vs Star

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simurelay at every 7 months against Star's every 27 months. Star's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simurelay sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Star sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simurelay ships an update every 7 months, Star every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
