# KDE Connect vs Proton Pass

The clearest difference is rating: Proton Pass at 4.8 against KDE Connect's 4.2. Proton Pass also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (9K vs 279). KDE Connect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.
