# Kami vs BrainDrop

The clearest difference is ads: BrainDrop at none against Kami's shown. BrainDrop also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Kami's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kami sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and BrainDrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kami ships an update every 3 weeks, BrainDrop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
