# Solaris Optics vs UseePlus

The clearest difference is rating: Solaris Optics at 3.3 against UseePlus's 2.4. Solaris Optics also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). UseePlus's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and ratings volume (323 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Solaris Optics holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UseePlus has 323 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Solaris Optics's written reviews are positive against 25% of UseePlus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solaris Optics ships an update every 3 weeks, UseePlus every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
