# Motion vs Timeless Reality

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Timeless Reality at 100% against Motion's 42%. Timeless Reality also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Motion's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 25). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motion sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per month and Timeless Reality sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timeless Reality holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motion has 1.9K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of Motion's written reviews are positive against 100% of Timeless Reality's.

Motion ships an update weekly, Timeless Reality every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
