# Motion vs EasEvent

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EasEvent at 100% against Motion's 42%. EasEvent also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Motion's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 11). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motion sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per month and EasEvent sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EasEvent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motion has 1.9K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of Motion's written reviews are positive against 100% of EasEvent's.

Motion ships an update weekly, EasEvent every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
