# Diamond Physical Therapy vs Athletico

The clearest difference is rating: Athletico at 4.5 against Diamond Physical Therapy's 4.0. Athletico also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (427 vs 1). Diamond Physical Therapy's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Athletico holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Athletico has 427 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Diamond Physical Therapy's written reviews are positive against 71% of Athletico's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Diamond Physical Therapy ships an update every 9 months, Athletico every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
