# GetCoffee vs bruu

The clearest difference is ads: GetCoffee at none against bruu's shown. GetCoffee also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.7). bruu's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetCoffee sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and bruu sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GetCoffee ships an update every 2 months, bruu every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
