# Awesome Con vs PAX Nav

The clearest difference is ads: PAX Nav at none against Awesome Con's shown. PAX Nav also leads on review sentiment (28% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Awesome Con holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PAX Nav has 86 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Awesome Con's written reviews are positive against 28% of PAX Nav's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Awesome Con ships an update every 9 months, PAX Nav every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
