# FiledIt vs hashcloud

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FiledIt at none against hashcloud's 10. FiledIt also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). hashcloud's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (185 vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hashcloud sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. FiledIt asks for nothing beyond the download.

FiledIt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hashcloud has 185 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FiledIt ships an update every 3 months, hashcloud every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
