# AiDot vs ViewLink

AiDot and ViewLink both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 44% of AiDot's written reviews are positive against 0% of ViewLink's. AiDot also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (8.1K vs 20). ViewLink's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 20) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AiDot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. ViewLink asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for AiDot against 4.8 for ViewLink. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AiDot has 8.1K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of AiDot's written reviews are positive against 0% of ViewLink's.

AiDot ships an update fortnightly, ViewLink every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
