# MAKE vs Puffless

MAKE and Puffless both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Puffless's written reviews are positive against 25% of MAKE's. Puffless also leads on ratings volume (141 vs 13). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MAKE sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.49 per 3 months and Puffless sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Puffless holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puffless has 141 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of MAKE's written reviews are positive against 67% of Puffless's.

MAKE ships an update monthly, Puffless every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
