# Catalyst Training vs The Program Suite

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Program Suite at none against Catalyst Training's 12. The Program Suite also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Catalyst Training's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Catalyst Training sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. The Program Suite asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Catalyst Training against 5.0 for The Program Suite. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catalyst Training has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Catalyst Training ships an update fortnightly, The Program Suite every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
