# CPS Test vs Chatback

The clearest difference is rating: Chatback at 4.6 against CPS Test's 4.2. Chatback also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 119) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). CPS Test's advantage is iOS requirement (12 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CPS Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chatback sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chatback holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chatback has 2.9K ratings behind it against 119, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of CPS Test's written reviews are positive against 69% of Chatback's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CPS Test ships an update every 6 weeks, Chatback every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
