# CDL Permit Practice Test Prep vs CDL Prep 2024

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CDL Prep 2024 at 83% against CDL Permit Practice Test Prep's 25%. CDL Permit Practice Test Prep's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 8) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Permit Practice Test Prep sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and CDL Prep 2024 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Permit Practice Test Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Permit Practice Test Prep has 1.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of CDL Permit Practice Test Prep's written reviews are positive against 83% of CDL Prep 2024's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Permit Practice Test Prep ships an update every 2 months, CDL Prep 2024 monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
