# Mythings vs Planet Donut

The clearest difference is rating: Planet Donut at 4.7 against Mythings's 3.2. Planet Donut also leads on ads (none vs shown). Mythings's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 6%) and ratings volume (338 vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Planet Donut holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mythings has 338 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Mythings's written reviews are positive against 6% of Planet Donut's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mythings ships an update every 8 days, Planet Donut every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
