# Sail Trails vs Whack

The clearest difference is update cadence: Whack at every 3 days against Sail Trails's every 5 months. Sail Trails's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.1 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sail Trails ships an update every 5 months, Whack every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
