# WebstaurantStore vs FlashGas.com

The clearest difference is rating: WebstaurantStore at 4.9 against FlashGas.com's 3.9. WebstaurantStore also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 37). FlashGas.com's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (78% vs 69%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WebstaurantStore holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebstaurantStore has 4.3K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of WebstaurantStore's written reviews are positive against 78% of FlashGas.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WebstaurantStore ships an update fortnightly, FlashGas.com every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
