# WebstaurantStore vs Z

The clearest difference is update cadence: WebstaurantStore at fortnightly against Z's every 6 months. WebstaurantStore also leads on ratings volume (5K vs 1). Z's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for WebstaurantStore against 5.0 for Z. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebstaurantStore has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WebstaurantStore ships an update fortnightly, Z every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
