# Livetree vs YearTree

The clearest difference is update cadence: Livetree at every 2 days against YearTree's every 3 weeks. Livetree also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Livetree sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and YearTree sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Livetree ships an update every 2 days, YearTree every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
