# TypeOn vs Keyboard AI

The clearest difference is rating: TypeOn at 4.6 against Keyboard AI's 4.2. TypeOn also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 348). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TypeOn sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Keyboard AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TypeOn holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TypeOn has 2.8K ratings behind it against 348, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of TypeOn's written reviews are positive against 38% of Keyboard AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TypeOn ships an update every 9 days, Keyboard AI monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
