# Scrap Divers vs Orbix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Orbix at every 3 days against Scrap Divers's every 2 months. Orbix also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Scrap Divers's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 15) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrap Divers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Orbix sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrap Divers holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrap Divers has 1.3K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Scrap Divers's written reviews are positive against 100% of Orbix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scrap Divers ships an update every 2 months, Orbix every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
