# Magellan Rewards vs BLEUSALT

The clearest difference is monetization model: Magellan Rewards at free against BLEUSALT's free with in-app purchases. BLEUSALT's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 4) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BLEUSALT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BLEUSALT has 3.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
