# Location Tracker vs Location Changer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Location Tracker at none against Location Changer's 2. Location Tracker also leads on review sentiment (41% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). Location Changer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Location Changer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Location Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Location Changer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Location Changer has 382 ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Location Tracker's written reviews are positive against 15% of Location Changer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Location Tracker ships an update every 5 months, Location Changer every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
