# GOLDLEAF MD vs Zen Leaf+

The clearest difference is monetization model: GOLDLEAF MD at free against Zen Leaf+'s free with in-app purchases. GOLDLEAF MD also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 77%). Zen Leaf+'s advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1.8K) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GOLDLEAF MD against 4.9 for Zen Leaf+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zen Leaf+ has 16K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of GOLDLEAF MD's written reviews are positive against 77% of Zen Leaf+'s.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
