# Steampunk Express vs The Still

The clearest difference is ads: Steampunk Express at none against The Still's shown. The Still's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 months vs every 22 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Steampunk Express against 5.0 for The Still. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Still has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Steampunk Express ships an update every 22 months, The Still every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
