# Chemical Elements Practice vs Mind

The clearest difference is monetization model: Chemical Elements Practice at free against Mind's freemium. Chemical Elements Practice also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chemical Elements Practice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chemical Elements Practice ships an update monthly, Mind every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
